FATHERS DAY. "And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou lies to down, and when thou rises to up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as front lets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates." Deuteronomy 6:6-9. The responsibility of Fathers in pursuit of the mandate cannot be overemphasized. 1. FIRMNESS. It is God's firm desire that His word be in the heart of His people. The word of Jesus Christ must dwell in the heart of the father so as to bring forth a Godly given family that will showcase the light of God in this perverse generation. This can be accomplished only by daily and continually abiding in the scriptures. 2.TEACHERS.
