PASTOR'S REFLECTION | 28th MAY, 2017

"There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?.
John 6:9

INTRODUCTION 
The lad (child) in the scriptures among many people knew what it meant to live for Jesus by not just concerned about eaten whatever is having. We can deduce how far this child intentionally had a yarning for Jesus among other people in the crowd.

1. EMBRACEMENT 
We can see an all- embracing attitude that made what is the hands of the lad to bring the solution into life of all the people earnestly under the influence of Jesus teaching to physically been fed after Jesus's encounter.

2. CONVERSION
The change required by Jesus in our conversion will only begins with humility like little children as we are yarning to be like Jesus. Receiving the kingdom of God like a child will make us to accept Jesus with simplicity and singleness of heart.  
"Verily I say unto you, Whosever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child,he shall not enter therein. Mark 10:15. This is the confirmation of receiving the kingdom of God like a Child.

3. OUTSTANDING BLESSING 
Christ is deeply concerned about the salvation and the spiritual upbringing of children. Christian parents should use every means of grace available to bring their children to Christ, for Jesus Christ longs to receive them, love them and bless them.
"And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them and blessed them." Mark10:16. 
May the outstanding blessing of Jesus come upon all our children and everyone of us on this Children day in Jesus unfailing name.Amen.

May I conclude that we live for Jesus day after day.

I decree this week that  favor, mercy and grace shall be available unto Me.

If you are not brave enough, nobody will back you Up.

  When I was young, I was riding in the car with my mom when suddenly it started raining heavily. I was listening to the radio and had the volume up pretty loud. My mom told me to turn the music down so she could see better. I replied: “Mom, you see with your eyes, not your ears.” However, when I grew older, I was able to understand what she meant. Although we see with our eyes, what we hear—or what we choose to listen to—affects how we see. In other words, our focus is affected by what we hear. The scientific term for a blind spot or area of low vision is a “scotoma.” Listening to anything contrary to the Word of God can cause a spiritual scotoma to grow. Foursquare Fast and Pray GENERAL OVERSEER’S FOREWORD   And he (Jesus) said unto them, This kingdom can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Mark 9:29 KJV   Prayer and fasting are some of the foundations for exploits (success) in life. There are certainly great things that can only happen through prayer and fasting, hence the emphasis of the scripture in calling people to pray - Jeremiah 33:3; Matthew 7:7,8.   Many people wish for success and various kinds of breakthroughs in life but are not ready to pay the price for it. What we see in the physical - manifestation is often the outcome of what has been settled in the spiritual realm.
