GENERAL OVERSEER’S FOREWORD
Blessed be God Almighty for bringing us into the threshold of another year - AD 2019. What a marvelous God we serve and Who has indeed done marvelous things for us. To Him alone be all the glory, honour, praise, power, dominion and majesty, now and forevermore. I appreciate God for the testimonies of New Heights He brought our way in various dimensions at individual, family, church and corporate levels in 2018. God will surely uphold the blessings as we flow into the New Year in Jesus name.
God spoke to His people, Israel………. Behold, I will do a new thing (Isaiah 43:19). In this New Year that has just commenced, I see God doing new things for us His people, resulting in new testimonies of God’s goodness and faithfulness to us. God is a promise and covenant keeper. He has given us His word and prophecy for the year. It is AD 2019: Our Year of COVENANT OF PEACE (Isaiah 54:10). When we believe God and His prophet, we shall be established and prospered (2 Chronicles 20:20).
There are generally three dimensions to prophecy: Promise, Prayer and Performance. What is laid before us at this present time is a promise to make us beneficiaries and partakers of the Covenant of Peace. The action or step then required of us is PRAYER.
In prayer, we move God to act on our behalf, activating that which He has promised to do for us. Graciously, we serve God who answers prayer (Psalm 65:2). In this month of January, we are all encouraged to lay a solid foundation for what God will do for us, in us and through us in this New Year - 2019. It is an opportunity and a privilege we must all grab - Matthew 11:28; Proverbs 8:17; Psalm 27:7-9.
Beloved brethren and people of God, we must be determined to pray - unceasing, unwavering, consistent, committed and faith-backed prayer as we trust God for the outpouring of blessings upon our lives in 2019. The prayer of the righteous avail much (James 5:16). God is prepared to meet our expectations this year as we pray to Him.
All our local churches, zones, districts, axes and regions are expected to purposefully use this prayer guide which has been carefully prepared by our Prayer Ministry. You are also at liberty to incorporate other prayer inputs from the local church. No one should be left out of this prayer arrangement. May God reward our participation as we do it in the spirit of love, obedience, unity, cooperation and oneness in Jesus name.

FROM THE NATIONAL PRAYER COORDINATOR’S DESK
“So we fasted and prayed about these concerns. And He listened.” Ezra 8:23 (Msg)
Dearly beloved brethren, I warmly welcome us to another refreshing time with our great God. We thank God for the opportunity to carry out the divinely ordained spiritual exercise of Prayer and Fasting as an Organization for thirty days. This period calls for sober reflection, offer of prayers of appreciation, supplication, intercession and intervention as it is our culture at the beginning of every year. Testimonies abound of the mercies of God, great deliverance and answers to prayers arising from this season of waiting on the Lord. This should serve as motivation for us to continue to seek God’s face.
This year, we will be having a compilation of prayer guide from the Nigerian Church, our Children Ministry and the Global Foursquare Church. In other words, within our 30 days of prayer, we will have 21 Days of prayers with other Foursquare Nations all over the world (i.e. January 2-22).
I therefore charge us to gear up for a serious season of prayers. We must lay aside any form of discouragement and commit to remaining focused on reaching God’s Mercy Seat with our effectual prayers as we gather in all our churches on daily basis. Also note that we will be observing prayer vigils every Friday in the month of January 2019.
Beloved, it is time to seek God’s face and I trust that the God of All Grace will grant us the strength, enablement, encouragement, stamina and sound health to be unwavering in the place of prayer.

DAY 1: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 2: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING & PRAISES - Psalm 100:1-5
1. Praise and Thank God for Who He is and for answers to all our prayers last year 2018.
2. Thank God for seeing us through the year 2018.
3. Give thanks unto God for the prophetic theme of last year 2018 – our Year of NEW HEIGHTS.
4. Thank God for His protection, provision and preservation of our lives during the year 2018.
5. Give God praise for giving you the privilege to witness the 2nd day in the year 2019.
6. Thank God for the kick-off and success of A.W.A.K.E. program that started yesterday, January 1, 2019 in all the churches.

PRAISE HIM FOR YEAR 2018 - Bible Reading: (Psalm 150)
1. Thank God for His mercy that endures forever in the year 2018.
2. Thank God for His power, glory and presence we enjoyed during the year.
3. Thank God for His undeniable Testimonies that accompanied the year.
4. Thank God for keeping us in perfect peace throughout the year.
5. Thank God for His Grace, favour and loving kindness we enjoyed in the year 2018.

1. Pray for those who need Jesus, that they will see their true spiritual condition and turn to God.
2. Ask the Lord to grant you the ability to humbly accept your need for repentance, that you may
enjoy the blessing of a transformed, restored heart.
3. Pray for boldness when preaching the gospel, just as the early church did, and that a great
harvest of souls would come into the kingdom of God.
DAY 2: THURSDAY JANUARY 3: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING & PRAISES CONTINUES - PSALM 107:1
1. Let us give thanks unto the Lord for His goodness over our lives, families and the entire Foursquare Family.
2. Praise the name of the Lord for our General Overseer (Rev. Felix Meduoye), Board Members, National Executive Council Members, National Ministerial Council Members, Zonal Superintendents and all our Pastors for what God used them to do last year 2018.
3. Pray that as we continue the A.W.A.K.E. program today, the Holy Spirit will quicken men and women unto salvation.
4. Pray that the Holy Spirit will move as Pastors gather tonight to pray with our General Overseer in Lagos, Regional/Axis Coordinators and District Overseers in other Regions/Axis all over the nation.
5. Thank God for His mercies and peace over Nigeria in spite of pockets of trouble in some States. Thank God for the President, Vice President, Governors, Ministers, etc.

DAY 3: FRIDAY JANUARY 4: TODAY IS HOLY SPIRIT REFRESHING VIGIL NATIONWIDE - PROPHETIC IMPARTATION (ISAIAH 54:10)
1. Bless the name of the Lord for the prophecy of COVENANT OF PEACE for us this year 2019.
2. Thank God for NEW HEIGHTS recorded in year 2018.
3. Give thanks to God for souls saved and the wonders recorded during past Holy Spirit Refreshing Vigils.
4. Pray for unusual move of God with signs and wonders in all the Regions as we gather tonight under the Theme: PROPHECTIC IMPARTATION FOR 2019.
5. Pray for outpouring of the power and the gifts of the Holy Spirit upon our General Overseer (Rev. Felix Meduoye) and other officiating ministers.

name and the power of His blood. Ask Him to lead you to safe, competent ministers who will
lovingly assist you to total freedom.
DAY 4: SATURDAY JANUARY 5: PRAYER OF CONSECRATION – JOSHUA 3:5
1. Father, pass through me with your mercy. Create in me a clean heart, Oh God.
2. Father, purity us with the precious Blood of your Son, Jesus Christ.
3. Our Father, let your mercy prevail over every judgment of sin in our lives in Jesus name. (James 2:13).
4. Oh God, purge us from self and presumptuous sins that may hinder your blessings in our lives this year 2019 – Psalm 19:13.
5. Every Prince of Persia that will delay answers to our prayers this year, I bind you in the name of Jesus Christ. (Daniel 10:13).

4. Let every veil over my heaven be destroyed by fire in Jesus name.

1. Let us thank God for His mercies and move in our nation Nigeria despite all the works of the devil.
2. OH LORD, LET THE COVENANT OF PEACE BE EXPERIENCED ALL OVER NIGERIA AS WE GO INTO ELECTIONS THIS YEAR IN JESUS NAME.
3. Oh Lord, deliver us from the spirit of corruption in Nigeria in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, arise and let the enemies of the progress of Nigeria scatter in Jesus name.
5. Oh Lord, let violence, insurgencies, armed robberies, kidnappings, ritual killings, etc cease in Nigeria in Jesus name.
6. Oh Lord, Nigeria shall fulfill her prophetic destiny of carrying the gospel to other nations of the world in Jesus name.

GUIDE OUR LEADERS RIGHT IN 2019 - Bible Reading: (1 Timothy 2:1-3)
1. Pray for Clearer Visions and ideas in the lives of our leaders.

3. Pray for grace, anointing and auction to function in new levels in year 2019.
4. Pray for divine direction and right decision through the help of Holy spirit

DAY 8: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 9: PRAYER FOR ELECTION OF A NEW GENERAL OVERSEER THIS YEAR 2019 - Acts 13:22 & Acts 1:24-26
1. Thank God for the life and ministry of our current General Overseer, Rev. Felix Meduoye.
2. Pray and ask God to take over from us as we elect a new General Overseer this year 2019.
3. Pray for wisdom for the Committee already set up and working for the election of a new General Overseer.
4. Pray that God’s Covenant of Peace shall prevail in all the voting exercise that will produce a new General Overseer for our organization.
5. Pray that God will give us a man after His own heart.

1. Appreciate God for His grace in Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria.

1. Today, many pastors are silently struggling with sexual addiction. Pray for our leaders and pastors to guard their hearts and minds, and for boldness to confront and repent of any sin in their lives.
2. Pray for your church to become a place where it is OK to not be OK, a place where the doors are wide open to experience the scandalous love of Christ.
3. Pray for God to put the kind of people in your life who would ask you, “How is your soul doing?”

1. Let us thank God for building His church and the gates hell cannot prevail against it - Matt. 16:18.
2. Oh Lord, thank You for the move of Your power in all our churches.
3. Oh Lord, let your COVENANT OF PEACE reign in all our churches this year in Jesus name.
4. Father, let your COVENANT OF PEACE reign in the whole of Northern and Southern Regions of our nation Nigeria for establishment of churches already pioneered and the planting of new ones this year in Jesus name.
5. Father, give us more committed labourers (Groaners, Goers and Givers) in all our churches, Regions and Axis this year in Jesus name.

3. Pray for God’s power to rest upon every family to run the heavenly race in purity and with patience.
4. Oh Lord, there shall be no loss in our lives and families this year in Jesus name. (Num. 31:49).

1. Pray for His grace and mercy upon our Pastors and their families
2. Pray for divine provision, protection and peace upon our Pastors and their families
3. Pray for anointing for exploit in year 2019.
4. Pray for helpers of ministry and destiny to locate them in this year 2019 in Jesus name.
5. Pray that heaven will respect their kneels and words in this year 2019.

1. Take a moment right now to quiet your soul in stillness and silence to consider one area of your life where you need help.
2. As you think of that one area, simply speak the word “help” to Jesus.
3. Free yourself of the temptation to add to that word, and let the Holy Spirit make you aware of His growing presence inside you.
DAY 11: SATURDAY JANUARY 12: PRAYER FOR NATIONAL LEADERS OF FOURSQUARE GOSPEL CHURCH IN NIGERIA - Ephesians 1:17-18; 1 Cor. 4:2
1. Let us thank God for all our National leaders for God’s faithfulness over their lives and families.
2. Oh Lord, increase your grace and anointing in the life of our General overseer and other leaders. Fill them afresh with the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
3. Father, help all our leaders at all levels (National, Regional, Axis, Districts, Zonal and local Churches) to work together faithfully and in unity of purpose in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, grant our General Overseer and all leaders the needed strength to pursue with all vigour the Decade of Multiplication vision.

PRAYER FOR MISSIONARIES AND THEIR FAMILIES - Bible Reading: (Act 13:2-3)
1. Thank God for our missionaries and their families.
2. Pray for God’s protection from physical and spiritual attack against them and their families.
3. Pray that God should raise divine helpers and partners to meet their personal needs and the needs on the fields.
4. Pray for God’s favour on the fields for the expansion of the kingdom’s business.
5. Pray for sound health, sound mind and more inspiration for greater exploits to fulfill the Great Commission.

1. When you are going through dark times, pray for the Lord to show you that He is your strength.
2. Ask the Lord to show you that you have courage when you are afraid.

DAY 12: SUNDAY JANUARY 13: PRAYER FOR YEARLY PROGRAMS - Acts 2:42-47
1. Let us thank God for His presence and the successes recorded in all our programs last year.
2. Oh Lord, in all our programs this year, let there be signs and wonders.
3. Oh Lord, let the manifestation of your awesome Presence rest upon all our programs this year in Jesus name.
4. Every opposition to the success of our programs this year is scattered by fire in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR DECADE OF MULTIPLICATION AND OPERATION CHURCH PLANT CHURCH - Bible Reading: (Matthew 28:19-20)
1. Thank God for all churches planted through these programs.
2. Pray that God will continue to sustain these programs in Jesus name.
3. Pray for God increase and growth over all our churches.
4. Pray that Children Church will grow through these programs.
5. Pray for more exploits through these programs.

1. Humbly accept that you personally don’t have the love your marriage needs.
2. Go before the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to pour the love of Jesus into your heart afresh.
3. Go, enjoy and spoil your spouse with that new love today.
DAY 13: MONDAY JANUARY 14: NATIONAL CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MINISTRY - 2 Timothy 2:15, Joshua 1:8.
1. Let us thank God for the National Christian Education Ministry and the impact of this ministry in Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria and the Body of Christ.
2. Pray for the Director of Christian Education Ministry that God should grant her sound health, wisdom, strength and power.
3. Pray for more strength for all the labourers and that God should thrust out more committed hands to join the Department.
4. Pray for more financial resources for the Department.

PRAYER FOR NATIONAL CHILDREN COORDINATOR - Bible Reading: (Joshua 1:6-9)
1. Thank God for our National Coordinator - Rev. Mrs. Jumoke Odofin and her family.
2. Pray for God’s provision, protection and grace over her and her family.
3. Pray that the Children Ministry will increase greatly under her leadership.
4. Pray for more anointing and revelation for her and her family in this year 2019.
5. Pray for sound health for her and her family in this year 2019 and beyond.

1. Take a moment and ask God the following question: Lord, does my doing for You flow from my being with You, or is the pace of my life unsustainable?
2. Ask God to show you the areas of your life where you are hurrying rather than being present.
3. Stop what you are doing to sit in the quiet space God is providing and ask Him to fill it with His peace.
DAY 14: TUESDAY JANUARY 15: PRAYER FOR FOURSQUARE WOMEN INTERNATIONAL (FWI) - Proverbs 31:10-17, 1 Peter 3:1-6.
1. Oh Lord, we thank You for Foursquare Women International for your mercies, protection and the success of last year 2018 June Rally.
2. Pray that God will make them virtuous whose price is far above rubies.
3. Pray that God will put laughter in the mouth of all our expectant mothers this year in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, do not let any of our women suffer any loss in this year of COVENANT OF PEACE in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR COORDINATORS (LOCAL, ZONAL, DISTRICT, AXIS, REGIONAL) - Bible Reading: (1 Timothy 2:1-3)
1. Let us thank God for the lives of our Children Ministers at all level.
2. Pray that God will expand their vision for this ministry in 2019.
3. Pray for more dedicated workers in Children Ministry.
4. Pray that love and unity will grow among our children workers.
5. Pray for infilling of the Holy Spirit in the lives of children workers for them to effectively reach the children for Christ.

DAY 15: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 16: PRAYER FOR COUNCIL OF FOURSQUARE MEN (CFM) - 1 Pet. 3:7-9; 2 Tim. 2:1-5
1. Let us thank God for the lives of Council of Foursquare Men – for God’s mercies, protection and provision. Thank God for the success of 2018 CFM Convention.
2. Oh Lord, make all our men strong, godly and faithful.
