"For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him".                                                                          Genesis 18:19

The honourable family is the awesomeness of a true Christian home. And a Christian home is one that radiates Christ in which the members learn to regard one another as having equal rights with full loyalty, honesty and co-operation and love in manifesting team role as Father/Husband leads. Just as scripture confirmed that, Abraham will command his entire household in a Godly manner.

1. GOD FEARING FATHERS.
God has placed the husband as head of the home. Abraham commanded his household faithfully. The household include the wife, children and servants. The husband as a God fearing father is required to be faithful to his wife, comfort his wife in times of sorrow according to 1 Samuel 1:8: Then said Elkanah her husband to her , Hannah,  why weepest thou? ...  May we be a God fearing father in Jesus unfailing name.

2. GOD FEARING MOTHERS.
Almost all great men have been made greatly by one or two loving women- a godly mother or a devoted wife. They are tremendous assets to their generation with two major duties to perform;
i. The first duty is to love and serve Christ. Luke 14:26.
ii The second duty is to obey her husband in full submission, not in manipulating her husband. "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord". Ephesians 5:22.

3. GOD FEARING CHILDREN
Isaac was exemplary in Genesis chapter 22, by carrying the wood without murmuring.
Samuel was most exemplary with instant obedience even in the middle of the night. I Samuel 3:10
Jesus as a child was obedient to his parents in Luke 2:51.
I prophesy that our children will honour their parents as the Almighty God will make the covenant of longevity to manifest in their lives on the surface of this earth. – Ephesians 6:1-3

In conclusion - We are God’s own family, honoured with Favour, Grace, Divine strength, Divine peace, Divine health, and Divine revelation of God’s words. We are also bearers of Victory, Success, and Progress in God’s Presence; may we not experience failure, calamity, sickness, backwardness, backsliding in Jesus name. (Amen)

  When I was young, I was riding in the car with my mom when suddenly it started raining heavily. I was listening to the radio and had the volume up pretty loud. My mom told me to turn the music down so she could see better. I replied: “Mom, you see with your eyes, not your ears.” However, when I grew older, I was able to understand what she meant. Although we see with our eyes, what we hear—or what we choose to listen to—affects how we see. In other words, our focus is affected by what we hear. The scientific term for a blind spot or area of low vision is a “scotoma.” Listening to anything contrary to the Word of God can cause a spiritual scotoma to grow. Foursquare Fast and Pray GENERAL OVERSEER’S FOREWORD   And he (Jesus) said unto them, This kingdom can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Mark 9:29 KJV   Prayer and fasting are some of the foundations for exploits (success) in life. There are certainly great things that can only happen through prayer and fasting, hence the emphasis of the scripture in calling people to pray - Jeremiah 33:3; Matthew 7:7,8.   Many people wish for success and various kinds of breakthroughs in life but are not ready to pay the price for it. What we see in the physical - manifestation is often the outcome of what has been settled in the spiritual realm. Prayer and fasting play  a  key part in this respect.   As we round off this year 2021 and look expectantly into the new year 2022, God has given us  an  open invitation to approach and access His presence - in the place of prayer.   Glory be to God A
