Pastor's Reflections

“Marriage is honourable among all, and adulterers God will judge. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you”.                     Hebrew 13:4-5.

God the designer of honourable home and marriage, really designed it to be the most enriching, rejuvenating and more enduring of all human relationships. It transcends all other human relationships and goes beyond physical relationship when Christ is involved and eternity consciousness is in view.

1. TOTAL GUARDIANS
In other to guard against sexual immorality, God has ordained  the sacred relationship of marriage. Undefiled contains more than a conjugal relationship, but also entails the married couples’ responsibility to preserve their intimacy from the perverse and debasing practices of a lewd society. The single yet to marry has to flee from sexual immorality and sex before marriage. This will bring a great honour after marriage.

2. TOTAL CONTENTMENT
We become content when we realize God’s sufficiency for our needs. Christian who becomes
materialistic is saying by their actions that God can’t take care of them or at least that He would not
take care of them the way they want. Such behaviours negate the honourable family of this end
time. I pray that we will not jeopardize God’s sufficiency in Jesus unfailing name.

Insecurity is the subtle way and fastest mode that lead to the love of money, whether we are rich or
poor. The solid way and the only antidote is to trust God to meet all our needs. May we trust the
Almighty God to meet us at the point of needs.

In conclusion – It is my earnest prayer that God w\\ill grants us the Grace and Capacity to develop TRUST in Him, to meet us at the points of our needs in Jesus name (Amen)

Shalom.
