INTRODUCTION:
The aim of this last teaching in this topic is to make us crave for righteousness with all earnestness, seeing it as the highest honour any man can get in this world.
Let us see some indisputable marks of God’s kind of holiness.

ITS NEGATIVE ASPECT – WHAT IT IS NOT
-Not mere knowledge of the Word – Num. 22:6; 24:3-4
-Not great profession of faith – Matt.26:47-49
-Not doing many things – Mark 6:20
-Not being zealous only – II Kings 10:16
-Not outward respectability and conduct – Mark 6:21
-Not keeping company with godly people – II Kings 5:27; II Sam. 3:30; II Tim. 4:10

ITS POSITIVE ASPECT
-A holy person will follow after humility in every respect – Luke 18:14; 14:11; Gen. 32:10.
-A holy person will keep every known commandment – Luke 22:42.
-A holy person will always strive to be like Jesus Phil. 2:5-9.
-A holy person will follow after meekness, longsuffering, quietness and patience – II Sam. 16:10; Num. 12:3; Gal. 5:22-23.
-A holy person will follow after charity and brotherly kindness, mercy and benevolence – Acts 9:36; II Cor. 12:15.
-A holy person will follow after the fear of God – Nehemiah 5:15.
-A holy person will follow after purity of heart – Matt. 5:8; Job 42.
-A holy person will follow after faithfulness and diligence in duty – Rom. 12:11.
-A holy person will endeavor to be a good father, mother, wife and husband – Matt. 7:12.
-A holy person will follow after spiritual mindedness – Col. 3:1.

SIGNIFICANCE OF PERSONAL HOLINESS
-Holiness makes you illustrious son or daughter of God – Exo. 28:2; Titus 2:14.
-Holiness is your honour – Rev. 1:5; Dan. 2:46; 5:27; Mk. 1:24; Acts 19:15; Lk. 1:29; I Sam. 2:30.
-Holiness gives you boldness with God – Job 22:23; 26; Prov. 28:1; Dan. 5:17-28; 6:10.
-Holiness gives you peace at all times especially in time of trouble – Psa. 23:4; Isa. 26:3; Pro. 11:4.
-Holiness leads you to heaven – Isa. 35:8; Heb. 12:14.

Lord, I want to be a Christian inner my heart

  When I was young, I was riding in the car with my mom when suddenly it started raining heavily. I was listening to the radio and had the volume up pretty loud. Foursquare Fast and Pray GENERAL OVERSEER’S FOREWORD   And he (Jesus) said unto them, This kingdom can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Mark 9:29 KJV   Prayer and fasting are some of the foundations for exploits (success) in life. There are certainly great things that can only happen through prayer and fasting, hence the emphasis of the scripture in calling people to pray - Jeremiah 33:3; Matthew 7:7,8.   Many people wish for success and various kinds of breakthroughs in life but are not ready to pay the price for it. What we see in the physical - manifestation is often the outcome of what has been settled in the spiritual realm.
